Pencil Cactus

Hi, my unique pencil-like branches are responsible for getting vernacular name Pencil Cactus. I have many more common names like Fire stick plant, Finger tree, Pencil tree etc. Euphorbia Tirucalli is my scientific name. I am a succulent, spineless, hardy green shrub. The branches are cylindrical, smooth and glamorous green. The flowers are yellow, inconspicuous, and carried in clusters at the apex of the short branches. I am incredibly low maintenance and can handle a lot of neglect. I also don’t usually have issues with pests or diseases. If you tend to travel a lot and don’t have time to regularly take care of a houseplant, I might be the plant for you.
