Crown of thorns

Hi, I am Euphorbia Milii. Noted for my incredibly showy bracts I am commonly called Crown of thorns, Christ plant or Christ thorn. I belong to a species of flowering plant in the spurge family Euphorbiaceae. I grow as a sprawling evergreen shrub with succulent branches lined with long, sharp, black thorns. My Bright-green leaves grow along thick, thorny stems. The eye-catching blooms consist of tiny, inconspicuous, red flowers held in clusters. I blossom over an extremely long season, throughout the year in tropical and sub-tropical locations. I am drought-tolerant, easy to grow, preferring slightly dry, sandy soil.
