Chinese fan palm

Hi, I am Livistona Chinensis, popularly known as the Chinese fan palm. The reason for my common name is I am Native to Southern Japan, Taiwan, and South China Sea islands etc. I am known extensively round the globe as most popular Ornamental Plant with sprawling fan-like fronds that grow up to 2 ft (60 cm) across.

When mature, I am a picture of elegance. My broad, fan-shaped foliage is carried on tall stems, making it a graceful ornamental for the home. I am a slow grower that can be grown both in open areas as well as indoors.
