Hi, my name is Rhapis excelsa, also known as Broadleaf Lady Palm or Bamboo Palm. I am a species of fan Palm, the most well-known and widely cultivated species. I am quite adapting to most interiors by nature.

Keep the plant in indirect bright light.

Do not re-pot immediately after receiving it.

Choose a pot bigger in size while re-potting.
I love bright indirect light. I shall grow faster when placed at my favourite areas, but I can also tolerate bright fluorescent light as well as medium light. As an indoor companion you would love me. You can place me in your balcony too as I love outdoor shaded areas also. So, my loving places are - brightly lit living rooms, or shaded balconies and front yards. Keep me as per convenience and I promise you would love my lush green foliage and my air purifying qualities!
